Inauguration of Indian Corner at the Library of the Department of Asian Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana

On May 29 2018, Prof. Dr. Roman Kuhar, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and H.E. Mr. Param Jit Mann, Ambassador of India to Slovenia, inaugurated the Indian Corner at the Department of Asian Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. 

Their welcome speeches were followed by the welcome speech of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nataša Vampelj Suhadolnik, Head of the Departent of Asian Studies, and the guest lecture on Significance of Indian Studies by Prof. Dr. Tamara Ditrich. 

During the programme, an agreement was signed betweeen the Embassy of India and the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Arts for continued teaching of culture and literature of India including Hindi at the Department of Asian Studies. 

At the end of the programme, the First Act of Bhasa's Consecrations was performed by the students of Vedic and Classical Sanskrit.
